Lunch with Friends was held on Saturday at the Queenslander Cricketers’ Club thanks to The Busy Group.

The Luncheon was held to launch Domestic and Family Violence Awareness Month and fundraise for Friends with Dignity.

The event was hosted by Jodie Shepherd from The Breeze bringing people together in support of Friends with Dignity to help them continue to do the life-changing and vital work they do to help those impacted by domestic violence restart their lives.

Thank you to the many businesses that supported the day by donating amazing raffle prizes. A silent auction included some stunning jewelry from jewels for generosity and Ambassador Simi Mala from Fancynators, auctioned a couple of her beautiful fascinators.

The guest speakers for the luncheon were Joe Dageforde, founder and driving force behind 4 Shore Projects, and Sandie Foran, founder and creative force behind Moss n Stone. Both speakers shared their stories of abuse and why now, as successful business people they give back in their ways doing what they can to improve the lives of others.

With the stunning view of the iconic cricket grounds, the day was enjoyed by all who attended and raised over $ 10,000 for Friends With Dignity.
